5 Minute Healthy Meal Ideas

Healthy choices are important. Sometimes it seems impossible to make them when it comes to nutritional health due to a lack of time. It takes an investment of time and finances to make healthier nutritional choices as well as self-discipline. However, the road to getting started may be a little easier with resources that help simplify the process.Vegetable

In an effort to help encourage you in making healthier choices, we wanted to share a Pinterest find that was recently shared with us on Facebook. It is a simple chart based off of a Women’s Health Magazine article titled, “What Nutritionists Eat When They Only Have 5 Minutes to Prep a Meal.

We don’t know about you, but for our staff at Enhanced Wellness, five minutes of meal prep sounds like a plan! We love the idea of a quick and simple meal made of a nutritional wrap, deli meat, and lettuce! Let us know if you’ve tried any of these easy five minute meals.

In addition to making healthy eating choices, it is also good to get in regular physical exercise. The Mayo Clinic recommends at least 30 minutes per day. With the spring here it is up to you to take advantage of the beautiful weather to get out and get moving. Don’t let any back pain or joint pain allow you the excuse to keep from getting exercise.
